Last month, Anvaya Cove invited I Try DIY to one of their open house events. It was my birthday weekend, so I was a bit hesitant to go. When I managed to book a room for that Saturday night, I knew I had to go! I brought along a few of my crafts cousins/friends to help me out with the crafts table and to spend the special weekend with me!

They specifically requested for a Paracord Bracelet activity. I don’t usually include paracord bracelets with my activities, but the folks at Ayala got me to say YES!

We also had a Button Ring corner. This craft is in the Candy DIY Book, in case you wanted to learn how! 🙂

To welcome summer, we also had a Paper Pinwheel corner. The pinwheels made for cute photobooth props too!

DMC sponsored the friendship bracelet corner. We used DMC’s bobbin winders to make the quickest, easiest, simplest friendship bracelets ever! It was a sure hit, especially for those who swore they weren’t crafty enough to be able to make bracelets. I’ll be dedicating a separate post on these easy-to-make friendship bracelets next week!

The kids were adorable, and definitely were the sweetest bunch. They spent so much time with us that afternoon, they didn’t want to have to leave

Once the open house was over, we headed over to our suite. It fit the four of us comfortably! The bed was so comfortable! A little too inviting, in fact. If we hadn’t planned on being by the beach for sunset, I would have been totally fine laying on the bed all night.

The beach and clubhouse was a short walk away.

The beach area was so peaceful.

If we weren’t hungry, we would have stayed all night.

We walked around to check out the facilities. We wanted to make the most out of the next morning. Apart from the pools, they had a game room and a library. You could borrow a volleyball or soccer ball to use on the beach. They had a tennis court, a gym and even a zipline. They had bikes you could rent, should you want to bike up the trail.

We hit the beach early that morning. We wanted to lay in the sun before it got too hot.

We spent a couple hours poolside. Our bungee band bracelets were the perfect accessory for the water.

I’m itching for another visit to Anvaya Cove, so I can try everything the Beach & Nature Club has to offer. The weekend was too short! Please take me back to Anvaya!
