I’m still hungover from last month’s Craft Camp. It was a great weekend of crafts with amazing campers, not at all tainted by the storm that came upon Day 2 of the camp. Even if we were holed up indoors, we went on with the program. I closed the camp with a handwoven twig necklace workshop. It was a new workshop I’ve never taught before!
One thing I truly enjoy making are garlands and buntings. I have a couple tutorials here on my site (loop-d-loop paper garland & simplest paper garland), and you’ll find that I love garlands that are a breeze to make. This thread garland is pretty much done in just three steps: fold, tie and snip. Read on to learn how!
When I first saw THIS friendship bracelet watch on Urban Outfitters’ site, I knew I had to have it. By that, it meant either having to buy it or make it. The tweet professing my love for this idea came months ago. I only got around to making it now.
This weekend, I suddenly remembered how I had a watch stashed away with the rest of my unused accessories. I don’t remember which cousin or visitor left this in my New York apartment. I never found out, and never used the watch myself. So, here’s how I made my version of this friendship bracelet watch.
