I’m back from my 6-week escape from Manila. I spent time with my family in good ol’ Anchorage, Alaska. I was half-expecting myself to burn my money shopping for clothes and accessories, but instead found myself headed home with two checked-in baggage of craft supplies and three additional boxes being sent via cargo.
Anchorage is one of those small quaint towns where crafting isn’t left for lolas alone. Handmade wasn’t a movement, it was an everyday life staple. Here’s a list of my favorite places to crafts spots!
It started with one photo. Then, I started seeing color palettes everywhere! Start taking notice. 🙂
One activity we had during Craft Camp was a Craft Challenge. Inspired by The Amazing Race, we set up 8 booths of crafts that we estimated should take 15 minutes to learn and make. One of the crafts I set up for the challenge was the Wire Rings table.
I spent the past weekend in Zambales for Craft Camp. Alessa, Mansy, Isa and I hit Crystal Beach Resort with 20+ craft campers. It’s definitely the most fun I’ve had in a while. So much crafting, chikahan and laughing jammed into a weekend. Definitely one for the books. Here are some photos from the camp.
