Exactly a week ago, this happened: My first TV interview for I Try DIY.

I still can’t believe it actually happened!

The set reminded me of one of my childhood (post-college?) dreams. I wanted to host a talk show! A silent giggle to myself later, the nerves went away and was quickly replaced with glee.

I was asked to set up a small display, and prepare a short demo.

Two segments later, I found myself schmoozing with Ria. Save for the camera screenshot of my face over Ria’s shoulder, it felt like any other conversation I’d have with her.

I didn’t know how long I had left for my segment, so I think I breezed through the demo too quickly. The thing is though, making those rings does take only minutes!

Some of those who caught it on TV told me I was bungisngis and unusually perky. Well, this shot pretty much captured that, didn’t it?

I know this was borderline (second degree) nepotism, but I’m deeply thankful for the invite, Ria! And, I think I proved that you can craft! 🙂
