I’ve been lucky enough to walk the streets of Hong Kong many times this year. With the help of friends, Google and sheer luck, I’ve managed to round up a list of must-visit places for Arts & Crafts supplies in the city. Here’s a quick Arts and Crafts Supplies Guide: Where to buy in Hong Kong.
There are a few tools you can buy to make your pillow box making as simple as a series of paper punches. Here are some of those magical tools:
It’s definitely difficult not to fall in love with Japan. This year, I headed over to Osaka again for a two-week work & play adventure. Last year, I was still finding and learning my way around the city, so my search for craft supplies was quite limited. This year, I checked out new places and discovered that there was so much I was missing. Since there’s been this great Japan invasion this year, I thought I’d share with you fellow crafter a few of my favorite spots. Here’s quick Arts and Crafts Supplies Guide: Where to buy in Osaka.
Here’s another good use for those edge punchers!
I grabbed a few scrap pieces of paper I had lying around.
With a Martha Stewart Edge Punch, I punched along one side.
Then, trying my best to align the scallops, I punched the other edge.
I made sure the strip made it around the candle.
To spice things up a little bit I added a fun polka dot print in the middle of the strip.
Then, I stuck it onto the glass.
It even cast a beautiful pattern off the walls in the dark!

I’m back from my 6-week escape from Manila. I spent time with my family in good ol’ Anchorage, Alaska. I was half-expecting myself to burn my money shopping for clothes and accessories, but instead found myself headed home with two checked-in baggage of craft supplies and three additional boxes being sent via cargo.
Anchorage is one of those small quaint towns where crafting isn’t left for lolas alone. Handmade wasn’t a movement, it was an everyday life staple. Here’s a list of my favorite places to crafts spots!
At 6:38 yesterday morning, a box was delivered to my condo. My Alaska family sent over a box filled with goodies. Pretzel M&M’s. More cupcake liners. And this!
My mom sent me a Fiskars Shapeboss Ultimate Embossing System! I’m too excited for words! I wish I had gotten the box sooner. Not having internet at home for 4 days now has driven me to do non-wired things at home.
I see scrapbook paper abuse in my future.
On another note, Thanks to Candy Magazine and Macy for featuring me!
