There are two holidays that spurs a frenzy of tutorials here on the site. The first is Halloween, the other is Valentine’s Day. Here’s a quick, easy, simple and painless heart-themed tutorial. Read on to learn how to make paper clip hearts!
I used to work in an office that didn’t supply us with Post-Its. When I requested a pad of those for supplies, all I got was a “that’s what paper clips are for” response. Me, being me, made the most out of it. I sometimes turned them into paper clip hearts for my favorite co-workers, especially in February.
You will need a metal paper clip. This will definitely not work with plastic ones that aren’t malleable. Start by finding the center of the clip.
Gently pull the ends towards each other, bending right at the center of the clip.
Use the paper clip heart just as you would a normal paper clip. Except this time, it’ll just look a little cuter and sweeter.
Adorable, right?
Try this out at the office this coming Valentine’s Day season. Try this paper clip hearts tutorial, and tag @mikkomix or @itrydiy on your photo. Happy crafting!
